Fox is holding a blindfold race.
Badger's selling secrets.
Pigeon's teaching people to steal.
Snail invites you to sit and chat.

You choose who to follow.

Fox, Badger, Pigeon and Snail represent society's unheard voices. They want you to listen and to follow. The team with the most followers wins. Winners decide the ending.

Scavengers incorporates multiple levels of engagement. There is a central performance area where you are free to sit and watch. Characters move in and out, creating a structured narrative-led performance.

When characters leave this space you're invited to follow to secret hideaways. You'll receive bribes, games and secret tasks to gather team followers - then mark out territory, pass out propaganda, and sabotage your opponents.

Get involved with the story - or with the action. Either way, you must choose a side.
Only one side wins, and winners get their voices heard.

Scavengers has had two public R&D 'work-in-progress' sharings supported by Word of Warning, and Chorlton Arts Festival.

We are looking to develop our final piece with outdoor touring in mind.

This will be a 50-60 minute experience suitable for audiences of up to 60 people, in a wide variety of urban/rural venues with minimal set-up. Scavengers adapts to its surroundings. The main 'performance area' could be in festivals, parks, or streets. The 'secret hideaways' down alleys, through trees, or even just among crowds.

Scavengers uses no tech and minimal set. We focus our production values into high quality handheld props and gifts for the audience - from custom-designed badges to handwritten cards; creating tactile, memorable experiences.

Optionally, we also have music from the Kraken Ceilidh Band, a four-piece acoustic folk band who have performed with us before to fantastic response.
For an additional fee, they can underscore the piece, fully incorporated with the action, and requiring no additional technical set-up.
